By using HookFerret you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. They're meant to be short and fair.

The service

HookFerret is a free tool for receiving and inspecting webhooks and other HTTP requests at a throwaway inbox URL. It is intended for development, testing, and debugging. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may change at any time.

Acceptable use

• Don't use HookFerret for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Don't send, capture, or store content you aren't authorized to handle, and don't use the service to intercept or collect other people's data without permission.
• Don't abuse the service — no attempts to flood, overload, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attack the infrastructure, and no automated bulk use that degrades it for others.
• Inbox URLs are unauthenticated capabilities. Anyone who has your inbox URL can view the requests sent to it. Keep your inbox URL private and don't route sensitive data you can't afford to expose through a shared or public inbox.

Availability & data

The service is ephemeral by design: inboxes and captured requests auto-expire and are deleted, and we may rate-limit, suspend, modify, or discontinue the service — or delete data — at any time, without notice. Don't rely on HookFerret to retain anything, and keep your own copy of anything you need.

No warranty

HookFerret is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will capture every request, retain data, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookFerret and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

Changes & contact
